On September 14th, 15th and 16th, 2017, the event “Viento del Este”, I Colloquium – Public Debate on the Construction of the Territory in the Eastern Region was held at CURE Maldonado. The CIPAC team presented the project “Artisanal fisheries on the east coast of Uruguay: Contributions for their research and management” coordinated by the Prof. Adj. Msc. Leticia D’Ambrosio. This project aims at the study of artisanal fisheries on the east coast of Uruguay, seeking to contribute to the understanding of the interpretation and use of the maritime-coastal space and management of the fishing resources of the various groups dedicated to artisanal fisheries.
