CIPAC is part of the First Academic Conference organization at CURE

On October 6th and 7th, 2016 the “First Academic Conference in Social and Human Sciences of the CURE” was held in the Magna room at the CURE – Madonado, organized by the Department of Social and Human Sciences of the Eastern Regional University Center (CURE). Deans Dr. Alvaro Rico of the Faculty of Humanities and Educational Sciences and Dr. Diego Piñeiro of the Social Sciences Faculty representing the Social and Artistic Board of UDELAR and Dr. Tabaré Fernández, President of the Coordinating Committee of the Interior of the UDELAR. It was organized in round tables, made up of prominent national and foreign panelists who have been invited to reflect and discuss how to expand and improve teaching at the undergraduate level for the area of ​​social and human sciences at the CURE. At the same time, in the framework of this event, on Thursday, 6th at 6:00 pm, a conference entitled “Challenges in the face of social inequalities: social sciences in Latin America” ​​was presented by the well-known Argentine sociologist Dr. Elizabeth Jelin, Senior researcher of the CONICET and Houssay Award for Research in Social Sciences (2012). The CIPAC was present through Prof. Adj. Msc. Leticia D’Ambrosio who joined the organizing team of this event. All activities were open access for all public.
