During November 28th to December 2nd, 2016, the event III Interdisciplinary Conference on Biodiversity and Ecology (III JIBE), “Socio-environmental challenges for Uruguay del Futuro” was held at the CURE – Rocha. The CIPAC was present through Prof. Adj. Msc. Leticia D’Ambrosio who presented a talk about “Maritimities: knowing, experiencing and inhabiting the sea and the coast” that was part of the GT “Ecological anthropology of Uruguay, look at the co-evolution between humans, animals, plants and the atmosphere in the Anthropocene”.
