From November 30th to December 4th, 2015, the 11th MERCOSUR Anthropological Meeting took place. The theme of this year was “Dialogues, practices and anthropological visions from the south“. The CIPAC was present through the participation of Prof. Adj. Msc. Leticia D’Ambrosio who, among other researchers, offered the course “Maritime and coastal ethnographic: Anthropological Contributions to the study of space and coastal populations” and led the talk “Modes of knowing and inhabiting the environment in a locality of the Uruguayan coast“. The course took place between November 30th and December 1st, 2015 in the master room at the CURE – Maldonado. In addition to these activities, Prof. Leticia also participated as a commentator of GT-107 “Maritime coastal territoriality: processes of use, occupation and social production of space“. This event was promoted by the Universidad de la Republica (UdelaR), Facultad de Humanidades y Ciencias de la Educación y Centro Universitario Regional del Este (CURE).
